expertise\nProfessional personal presentation and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor under potentially stressful circumstances while managing multiple (sometimes conflicting) priorities is required\nStrong listening skills and the ability to comprehend member, co-worker, and senior leadership team needs\nAbility to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines\nAbility to travel independently as needed (less than 5%) within state and occasionally out of state\nTechnical Skills:\nPersonal computer to include MS Word, strong Excel, and ability to use web and web-based applications\nKnowledge or ability to learn quickly the organizations HRIS and talent management systems\nAbility to create professional presentations using software (PowerPoint, Prezi, etc.)\nUnderstanding of general human resources policies and procedures\nKnowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, such as EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA, ADEA, PDA, FFCRA, Civil Rights Act, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA/HITECH.\nLeadership Skills:\nAbility to comprehend and apply rules and guidelines appropriately within position\nAbility to prepare and make comprehensive presentations and professionally communicate before internal audiences (presentations, training sessions, meetings) and respond to questions from groups of managers, members, sponsor representatives, and the general public\nAbility to complete assigned projects within prescribed time frames\nKnowledge of communication strategies for the purpose of furthering HR department goals and objectives related to the Alabama Credit Union strategic plan\nIndustry Knowledge:\nWorking knowledge and understanding of governmental regulations for financial institutions\nWorking knowledge of products offered by Alabama
