KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contract templates and clause library: develop, standardise and maintain templates of contracts, annexes and standard clauses (RU/EN); keep them aligned with RK legislation and internal requirements; maintain a fallback-clause playbook and version control.
- Internal policies and procedures: draft, review and update legal policies, procedures, regulations and approval / delegation-of-authority matrices; align them with stakeholders, arrange approval and roll-out, monitor application and initiate revisions.
- Development of the legal function: participate in Legal Ops initiatives - legal process automation and optimisation (CLM, e-signature, EDMS), SLA and KPI monitoring and reporting, knowledge management, legal training for the business and the legal team.
- Legal risk management and business partnering: identify, assess and escalate legal risks in non-standard contracts and internal documents; maintain the legal risk register in the area of responsibility; monitor changes in legislation and reflect them in the templates and policies; advise business units and prepare risk reports for management.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent legal qualification).
- At least 3 years of legal experience, including litigation, claims management, dispute resolution, and regulatory law.
- Civil, corporate, labour and procurement legislation of the RK; contract law and legal drafting in Russian and English; skills in developing policies, procedures and process descriptions; legal risk identification and analysis; understanding of legal operations and CLM practices.
- Confident PC user: MS Word at advanced level (styles, templates, track changes, document compare), Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams; EDMS / 1C, e-signature and CLM systems; legal databases (Adilet, Paragraph, Zakon); experience with legal-tech / AI tools is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of documents to deadlines; readiness to work at the airport site and to pass the check of the Committee for National Security; no restrictions for handling confidential information.
- Experience working in international and infrastructure-focused companies; additional experience in foreign jurisdictions would be considered an advantage.
