This is an opportunity to drive our commercial business forward by empowering small and medium-sized businesses with smarter, fully integrated security solutions - combining video surveillance, intelligent intrusion detection, access control, and energy management into one seamless, cost-effective package.

As a Commercial Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our expansion - prospecting, onboarding, and cultivating new commercial dealers into a thriving partner program, while directly fueling revenue growth every step of the way.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect, onboard, and develop new commercial dealers into the Alarm.com partner program
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within your account base, identifying and resolving obstacles to dealer success
  • Support commercial dealers in presenting to large end-user opportunities
  • Coordinate and deliver on-site product, technical, and sales training for dealers
  • Develop relationships with industry partners and educate them on Alarm.com's offerings to drive dealer sales activity
  • Collaborate closely with Sales leadership and territory Account Executives to identify target opportunities and support efforts
  • Represent Alarm.com at industry association meetings and trade shows
  • Partner cross-functionally with Dealer Operations & Support, Sales Support & Training, Product Management, and Marketing
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales staff and the inside sales team
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in the sales, installation, and support of commercial security products-- specifically access control, alarm systems, and video surveillance  
  • Proven history of increasing revenue, closing new accounts, and successfully growing accounts
  • Ability to sell concepts and value-added services a must
  • Successful history of client and account management
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Ability to meet heavy travel demands - approximate travel is 50-75%
  • Ability to manage a large set of accounts and prioritize activities for highest impact 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including client presentation and training delivery experience
  • Demonstrated passion for providing the highest-quality customer service
  • Team player with an extremely positive attitude and flexibility
  • Strong technical and computer skills and aptitude
  • SaaS/RMR experience preferred
  • Bachelors degree strongly preferred
