Have extensive knowledge of how our dealers and their customers use our products based on first-hand experience installing, troubleshooting, and using them.\nManage a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, ensuring their needs are met despite competing demands on team resources.\nUtilize clear analytical thinking and communication that aligns project teams on the most critical next steps at each point in a product’s lifecycle.\nMotivate teams to deliver their best work and release products with minimal timeline slip while maintaining an unwavering commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.\nDo whatever is needed to drive product support across its life cycle. This includes writing product specifications, testing new features, soliciting customer and dealer feedback, creating documentation including marketing materials, overseeing quality assurance efforts, and supporting existing products.\nDisseminate information based on a detailed understanding of how our home automation functionality works. This includes low-level firmware operation, cloud-based data aggregation, and information distribution to user interfaces and third parties.\nEnsure revenue, customer satisfaction, and adoption goals are met for your projects.\nWork with engineering, support, sales, business intelligence, and high-profile partners to resolve product issues.\nPlan the go-to-market strategy for new products - collaborate with engineering, sales, supply chain, data science, and other teams. Educate stakeholders and deliver product presentations.\nConduct market research and outline proposals for delivering new product lines.\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with Alarm.com’s technology partners, all while identifying new players for our team to partner with that add value to our platform while minimizing additional overhead.\nChampion enhancements to existing products that drive enduring platform value.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\n1-4 years in product management with a track record of managing and launching successful products.\nStrong academic performance with a B.E., B.S., BA, or other more advanced degree.\nGrit and the will to dig in and persevere in the pursuit of long-term goals.\nStrong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.\nProven ability to successfully lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills featuring attention to detail without losing sight of overarching objectives and what’s truly important.\nPassion for consumer technology and interest in developing a deep understanding of complex products and technologies.\nEffective computer skills (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as at least a basic understanding of how to use AI and a strong desire to learn more).\n General knowledge of business, economics, and/or finance.\nExperience in the following areas is a plus:\nElectrical engineering, computer programming, computer networking\nAgentic development\nMath and statistics\nRF technologies, cellular/wireless technology, and smart home automation\nUser interface design\nJIRA and Confluence\nWeb/mobile development\nCustomer service\nHome security systems\nPlease note that sponsorship of new applicants for employment authorization, or any other immigration-related support, is not available for this position at this time.\nWHY WORK FOR ALARM.COM?\nCollaborate with outstanding people: We hire only the best.
