Apply now, and get ready for a career full of heart, purpose, and a few happy barks along the way!\nMinimum Qualifications:\n3 years of customer service experience\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\nAbility to type 40+ words per minute with high accuracy\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nNot less than 6 months’ experience in a medical/veterinary setting\n\nHigh-volume appointment scheduling experience\nCash handling experience\n\nExperience in a veterinary practice environment is highly preferred\n\nKnowledge of veterinary clinic procedures and terminologies\n\nKnowledge of companion animal welfare issues and sterilization\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.\n\nMust be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds at times.\n\nFrequent bending and standing throughout the day\n\nJob Status:\nNon-exempt; Full time: 40 hours a week\n\nCompensation and Benefits:\n$21.00 an hour, depending on skills and experience\n\nFour-day workweek\nPaid vacation, sick, and holiday leave in addition to 3 paid personal days annually.\n\nDental and vision coverage\n\nSIMPLE IRA retirement plan\n\nDiscounted clinic services, including free vaccines and spays/neuters for your pets.\n\nDisclaimer\nAlaska PAWS is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to a work environment that values diversity and inclusiveness.
