At Alation, you’ll be the fuel behind our growth engine-owning strategy, prospecting, and influence from day one. This is not your average SDR role.\nWe’re a pre-IPO, high-growth Data Intelligence company with offices in Redwood City, Lehi, London, and Sydney. We’re looking for an SDR to join our team in Sydney who’s not just ready to connect with prospects, but shape how we reach them.\nWe work in a hybrid model-you’ll join us in our Sydney office on Tuesdays and Thursdays to collaborate, connect, and enjoy a team atmosphere!\nWhat You’ll Do:\nWork in a high-impact POD model:You’ll be a true partner to your two AEs, Marketing, and Partnerships-driving strategy and execution across your territory.\n\nOwn your outreach: Leverage powerful tools (Outreach, Sales Nav, Zoominfo, Orum, Qualified, and more) and craft messages that actually convert. You’ll research, write, and connect like a pro.\n\nEngage with execs:Sell to everyone from ICs to the C-suite-honing your storytelling for both technical and business audiences.\n\nGrow fast:Crush your goals and you’ll have multiple paths forward-Account Executive, Account Manager, Solutions Engineer-you name it.\n\nGo beyond the screen: Represent Alation at in-person events and industry gatherings.\n\nYou Should Have:\n5-8+ years of SDR, BDR, or similar experience with proven results.\n\nA passion for building a career in tech sales (and maybe leadership down the line).\n\nExperience with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and Sales Navigator.\n\nConfidence speaking to senior decision-makers, and the curiosity to learn fast.\n\nA love of problem-solving, resilience, and thinking like an owner.\n\nBonus points for data or analytics experience, or a relevant degree.\n\n#LI-SR1\n#LI-Hybrid\nAlation, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
