You’ll join a team that has already proven what others said wasn’t feasible and is now scaling and upgrading our VLEO buses & payloads to serve mission sets across sensing, communications, and responsive operations.\nIf you can feel the excitement running through your veins, apply to be one of the Bedo 100.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nResponsible for satellite and constellation mission performance and utility analysis for future Albedo constellations \nWork across all mission areas: imaging, radar, comms, etc. \nPerform high-fidelity modeling and simulation that maps each key engineering parameter to end-mission utility and cost \nConduct parametric analyses and optimizations to inform the optimal design points for our product line \nWork directly with senior technical leadership and business leadership to understand and model new missions and scenarios of interest \nWork with hardware engineers to correctly model subsystem and satellite performance \nOptimize constellations for different missions and satellite capabilities \nHarness the mission utility and system capabilities that being able to operate in VLEO provides \nYour Ideal Skills and Experience:\n5+ years of experience performing satellite system modeling and simulation \nFull proficiency with modeling orbits and constellations \nDemonstrated experience in producing parametric analyses/optimizations, informing how engineering parameter X affects mission utility metric Y \nFamiliarity with satellite subsystems and at least one type of mission payload \nDemonstrated ability to take an open-ended modeling and simulation problem, ask questions, define an approach, and drive towards a working prototype \nBasic familiarity with modern combat systems and doctrines\nInterest in leveraging agentic AI to accelerate work, improve clarity, and multiply output\nNice to Have:\nCurrent TS/SCI clearance, or willingness to acquireone, is welcome but not required \n\nSalary Range:\n$155,643 to $173,016 per year\nCompensation and Benefits for Full-Time Roles:\nEmployee friendly equity compensation\n4% direct matching 401k\nHealth Insurance: 100% employee coverage & 75% dependent coverage\nParental leave and childcare coverage\nFlexible vacation and sick time from day one\n12 company holidays\n$100 monthly wellness benefit\nRelocation package if not based in Denver\nThe final compensation package is subject to change if the candidate's experience and company need drive a different job level than originally slated for the position.\nAlbedo does not accept agency resumes.
