This position is hybrid and located in Bangalore, India.\n\n What You Will Do\n\nContinually assist with the baseline design and implementation of Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies and concepts to include IaaS, PaaS, Terraform, Azure DevOps and Azure policies.\nDeploy/Manage Azure resources using Infra as Code (Terraform) and Azure DevOps pipelines.\nRecommend and build policies for cloud deployments such as location, device based, capacity sizing, governance, or other criteria\nHelp determine tools, tactics, and procedures for cloud management and monitoring tools\nRecommend and implement cloud computing environment resource cost management based on capacity management\nRecommend and implement standards that ensure adherence to security policies and procedures\nAssist in building incident response procedures for cloud environment\nResearch and investigate cyber threats and security incidents in conjunction with the IT Security team\nEvaluate and recommend cloud infrastructure resources based on IT project requirements\nDevelop and support standard operating procedures to simplify and streamline IT processes\nProvide support to assist with connecting monitoring and security tools (SolarWinds/SIEM/SOAR) with cloud environment\nUnderstand network cloud connectivity in a hybrid cloud environment\nAssist the Information Security team in monitoring security systems, reviewing logs, and managing information security systems\nIdentify, analyze, and report resource constraints within the cloud environment, using information collected from a variety of sources, to maintain cloud service operations\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, investigate, and resolve network and infrastructure issues and incidents; Provide Root Cause Analysis support.\nWhat You Bring\n\nRequired:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.\n5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or cloud infrastructure operations.\n3+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure in an enterprise or hybrid cloud environment.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and build effective partnerships across technical teams and business stakeholders.\nProven experience deploying and managing Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, and governance.\nHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.\nExperience with Windows Server administration, PowerShell or equivalent scripting, incident response, root cause analysis, and operational documentation.\nPreferred:\nMicrosoft Azure certification such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) is preferred.\nAdditional certifications in Azure architecture, security, networking, or Terraform are desirable.\nExperience supporting globally distributed environments and collaborating with Network, Infrastructure, Information Security, and application teams is preferred.\nBenefits of Joining Albemarle\nCompetitive compensation\n\nComprehensive benefits package\n\nA diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.\n\nWe are partners to one another in pioneering new ways to be better for ourselves, our teams, and our communities.
