Our core values are the foundation that make us successful for ourselves, our customers and the planet.\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions using Azure services.\n\nCollaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.\n\nDevelop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.\n\nEnsure data quality, governance, and security across all analytics platforms.\n\nCreate interactive dashboards and visualizations to support business decision-making.\n\nOptimize performance of data systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.\n\nContribute to the development and deployment of machine learning models and statistical analyses.\n\nParticipate in version-controlled development workflows and collaborative analytics projects.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n\n4-6 years of experience in data engineering\n\nHands-on experience with database and cloud platforms (Databricks, Spark, Microsoft SQL).\n\nExperience developing and maintaining data governance and security frameworks across Databricks and enterprise data warehouse (EDW) ecosystems, including access controls, data lineage, auditability, and secure data-sharing practices.\n\nExperience with Azure Data Factory for orchestrating data workflows.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft SQL Server for data storage and querying.\n\nHands-on experience with Azure Data Lake for big data storage and analytics.\n\nExperience with Generative AI tools such as Azure OpenAI or Databricks Genie.\n\nExperience with version-control systems (GitHub, etc.).\n\nDemonstrated ability to use data to make strategic recommendations and inform decisions.\n\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.\n\nProven experience working in collaborative teams, including co-development of models and results.\n\nTechnical Skills:\nAzure Ecosystem: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL\nData Engineering: SQL, Python, ETL development, Data Warehousing\nPreferred: Experience with Enterprise Applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Adaptive Planning\nBenefits of Joining Albemarle\nCompetitive compensation\n\nComprehensive benefits package\n\nA diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.\n\nWe are partners to one another in pioneering new ways to be better for ourselves, our teams, and our communities.
