This role provides leadership for shipping, receiving, transportation, inventory and material movement activities.\n\nEssential Job Functions:\nOversee daily inbound and outbound logistics, shipping, receiving, and material movement.\nLead and develop logistics, shipping, receiving, inventory and material handling personnel as applicable.\nCoordinate shipments and transportation to meet production and customer requirements.\nManage carrier relationships, performance, and freight costs.\nEnsure accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and transportation documentation.\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, transportation, and regulatory requirements.\nMonitor logistics KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.\nPartner with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Customer Service to resolve logistics issues.\nMaintain safe, organized, and efficient logistics operations.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics and material flow.\nSchedule:\nThe standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-10 hour shifts, with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed based on workload demands.\nNote: The duties and responsibilities described on this document are not necessarily a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time; and the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.\n5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory, transportation, shipping/receiving, or a related field.\n2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems, shipping software, and carrier portals.\nKnowledge of domestic and/or international shipping regulations and documentation.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nAbility to work in a team environment with strong communication skills.\nMust be a U.S citizen.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.\nWorking Conditions\nOnsite position with office environment and exposure to manufacturing areas.\nFlexibility to adapt to peak workloads and tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.\n\nReasonable Accommodations\nTo accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.
