We know defense and we know aircraft systems.\nThe Production Supervisor provides leadership and accountability for daily production activities on an assigned shift. This role leads production employees, ensures safe and efficient operations, meets quality and delivery requirements, and drives consistent execution and continuous improvement.\nEssential Job Functions:\nLead and supervise production team to achieve daily safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.\nPlan and coordinate daily work assignments, staffing, and production priorities.\nMonitor production performance and address issues that impact output, quality, or schedule.\nEnsure teammates follow company policies, safety requirements, work instructions, and quality standards.\nLead and develop Team Leaders and production team through coaching, feedback, and accountability.\nPartner with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR to resolve operational issues.\nIdentify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and improve production flow.\nSupport root cause analysis and corrective actions for safety, quality, and production issues.\nMonitor key performance indicators and communicate shift results, issues, and priorities to management.\nManage attendance, performance, and employee relations matters in accordance with company policies.\nEnsure accurate production documentation, reporting, and shift handoffs.\nSupport Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.\nEscalate significant safety, quality, staffing, equipment, or production issues to appropriate leadership.\nSupport special projects and operational initiatives.\nParticipate in corporate initiatives and cross-site collaboration.\nSchedule:\nThe standard schedule consists of two shifts: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM, and Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM-6:30 PM. Schedule flexibility is required based on production needs.\nNote: The duties and responsibilities described on this document are not necessarily a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time; and the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.\nRequiredQualifications:\nExperience leading manufacturing or operations with full site or business responsibility\nProven profit and loss ownership with strong financial and cost-control acumen\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience a plus\nMust be a U.S citizen. \nPreferredQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred.\n3-5 years of progressive manufacturing experience, with prior experience leading production teams.\n2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.\nExperience with production scheduling, workforce planning, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.\nExperience using Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving tools preferred.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the manufacturing facility.\nAbility to regularly bend, stoop, reach, and navigate production areas.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.\nWorking Conditions\nOnsite position with office environment and heavy exposure to manufacturing areas.\nFlexibility to adapt to peak workloads and tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.\nReasonable Accommodations\nTo accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.
