The Certified Electrician works independently and collaboratively with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nEssential Job Functions:\n·Support mechanical maintenance activities as needed.\n·Assist with facility maintenance projects and equipment relocations.\n·Participate in safety committees, training activities, and process improvement initiatives.\n·Perform other related duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.\n·Support other production areas as needed.\n·Assist in general shop housekeeping and material handling.\n·Perform other related duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.\nSchedule:\nThe standard schedule consists of 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday or 12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday. Flexibility is required to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours as needed to meet workload demands.\nNote: The duties and responsibilities described on this document are not necessarily a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time; and the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n·High school diploma or GED.\nValid Journeyman Electrician License required; Master Electrician License preferred.\nMinimum of 3 years of industrial, manufacturing, or commercial electrical experience.\nStrong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, electrical distribution systems, and troubleshooting techniques.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.\nExperience using electrical testing equipment including multimeters, megohmmeters, and related diagnostic tools.\nKnowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA regulations, and electrical safety practices.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills.\nMust be a U.S citizen.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.\nExperience with automated manufacturing equipment and robotics.\nTechnical certification in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or related field.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n·Standing: More than 2/3 of the time\n·Walking: 1/3 to 2/3 of the time\n·Sitting: Less than 1/3 of the time\n·Lifting: Up to 50 pounds (occasional)\n·Climbing ladders, stairs, and accessing elevated work areas: Occasional to frequent\n·Crouching, stooping, reaching, or stretching: Less than 1/3 of the time\n·Speaking and hearing: As needed for communication\n·Visual acuity required for close work and inspection\n\nWorking Conditions\nWork is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to elevated noise levels, hazardous chemicals and odors, and airborne particles or flying debris.
