an environmentally responsible and sustainable way.\nWe are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Supervisor at our new chilled potato product packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.\nShift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off - rolling shift, working 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs\nRate of Pay: Depending on experience\nResponsibilities\nSupport the Hygiene Team Leader in organising and supervising the Hygiene Team during the shift.\nMonitor hygiene standards across production equipment, machinery and factory areas to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.\nSupport training and development of the Hygiene department.\nEnsure the Hygiene team use the correct PPE, follow hygiene schedules, SOPs and company hygiene procedures.\nClean surrounding production line equipment including rollers, chutes, frameworks, platforms and other line components to maintain high standards of hygiene.\nDismantle and reassemble equipment where required to allow effective deep cleaning and ensure machinery is left in a safe condition ready for production.\nEnsure machinery and conveyor belts are safely isolated and secured during cleaning activities, including the use of lock-off procedure on control panels where required.\nEnsure appropriate warning signs are used, and areas are made safe when cleaning activities are in progress.\nEnsure correct use of PPE and follow all hygiene and safety procedures while carrying out cleaning duties.\nUse cleaning chemicals safety and in accordance with COSHH procedures where required.\nMaintain the cleanliness of staff welfare areas such as canteens, toilets, corridors, locker rooms, as well as other working areas outside of the main factory such as offices. \nComplete hygiene schedules, cleaning records and documentation accurately and on time.\nRequirements\nCOSHH/ Food Safety level 2 or above.\nPrevious experience in a hygiene role within a food production environment.\nAbility to supervise and support a team to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained.\nGood organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks during cleaning operations.\nAbility to identify hygiene issues, equipment damage or safety concerns and report them appropriately.\nGood communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and other department such as Engineering and Production.\nBasic numerous and literacy
