As a Production Worker at our San Leandro Milk Plant, you'll help ensure our milk and dairy products are produced, packaged, and delivered to the highest standards. Join a team where your hard work contributes to feeding families across the country.\nWhat you will be doing\nYou will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the milk production line. This includes operating equipment, maintaining cleanliness, monitoring product quality, and ensuring safety and efficiency.\nThe position will be based in San Leandro, CA.\nThe starting salary is $26.14 hourly if an individual does not have prior dairy experience. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.\nMain responsibilities\nOperate production line equipment such as fillers, cappers, case packers, and conveyors.\nMonitor equipment and product flow to ensure smooth operation and quality standards.\nPerform basic troubleshooting and communicate equipment issues to maintenance.\nFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), plant policies, and all safety regulations.\nLoad and unload materials, stack products, and keep work areas clean and organized.\nComplete production and quality documentation accurately and on time.\nAssist with clean-up and sanitation of equipment and work areas as needed.\nWork scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.\nWhat we are searching for.\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nPrior experience in a food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing environment is a plus.\nAbility to stand, bend, twist, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a fast-paced environment.\nComfortable working in cold, wet, and noisy environments.\nStrong work ethic and ability to follow directions and safety protocols.\nWillingness to work as part of a team and take on various production tasks as needed.\nForklift and pallet jack experience is helpful but not required.\nWhat is it like at Albertsons?\nOur 290,000 associates have a passion for great service and building lasting relationships with our customers.
