You combine strong product thinking with exceptional craft, and you’re comfortable working across the full lifecycle - from defining ambiguous problems to refining high-fidelity solutions and collaborating closely with engineering through implementation. You thrive in complex systems, care deeply about interaction details, and raise the bar for quality at every step. Beyond designing interfaces, you shape product direction, engage in thoughtful technical discussions, and mentor others by contributing to critiques and elevating team standards.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn product work end to end: Partner with product and engineering to define problems, explore solution spaces, validate concepts, and ship product improvements that move key metrics. Stay involved through launch and iteration, not just handoff.\nStart in an LLM: Use tools like Claude to clarify intent, draft short PRDs, and surface risks, edge cases, and initial approaches. Use this work to align quickly with your team.\nValidate assumptions with self-serve research: Talk directly with customers, run quick tests, and use what you learn to adjust direction. Treat research as a velocity tool, not a gate.\nPrototype using AI tools: Use Cursor and Claude Code to build and iterate on flows and simple interfaces. Let AI generate code while you guide structure, behavior, and UX quality. Partner with engineers to decide what moves into the product.\nBring work into Figma: Translate validated concepts into Figma for full state coverage, system alignment, and production readiness.\nDesign for the 80 / 20: Encode judgment and complexity under the hood while keeping the default experience simple and successful for most customers.\nContribute to patterns and culture: Share prompts, patterns, and learnings with the product org. Participate in crits and reviews that raise the bar for quality.\nKey Qualifications\n5+ years experience designing software\nGreat attention to detail and a strong eye for visual craft, such as composition, typography, and layout\nDemonstrated experience independently leading design initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration - balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities\nCourage to ask questions, experiment, and advocate for what you feel is right\nHumility to accept feedback, adapt your thinking, and iterate toward the best solution\nExperience with interaction design and prototyping in Figma (and beyond with tools like AI, HTML/CSS) \nAbility to distill problems and feedback, then design clear, focused solutions\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nBonus: Familiarity with the unique challenges of designing a more intuitive experience for real-world office and field scenarios.\nBenefits\nWe’re driven by purpose, fueled by high energy, and backed by venture funding.
