We have developed Albus Home, a contactless multisensor platform that monitors sleep, vital signs and cough without the patients having to do, wear or charge anything. The product incorporates state of the art sensor technology, with sophisticated signal processing and AI/machine learning algorithms, collecting continuous, objective and accurate physiological data from the patient’s home. Albus Home is available in over 50 countries, and has been used to collect over 10 billion data points across a dozen physiological and environmental parameters. Our clients include some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, and partners include some of the most reputed opinion leaders in medicine. Our team members have built unicorns in healthtech and biotech and are global leaders in medicine, drug development and healthcare technology.\nWe’re a small team (10 people) and are growing rapidly, recruiting across several functions. Albus Health is at an exciting stage at which we need to scale fast to meet the rapidly growing industry demand for our products and services. We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Manager to join our growing team. This role is central to ensuring our day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently across multiple domains - from supply chain and logistics to partnerships and project delivery. You will be expected to plan and implement multiple operational tasks. You will work closely with the leadership team and play a key role in scaling our operational infrastructure as we grow.\nThis is a full time on-site position, though hybrid may be considered for exceptional candidates. Recruited candidate is expected to work from Albus office premises in Oxford, will report directly to the CTO or the CEO.\nRequirements\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nNote: Other duties may be assigned.\nSupply Chain, Contracting, and Vendor Management\nManage the full supply chain lifecycle - from forecasting and procurement to delivery and stock management.\nManage sourcing and contract negotiations with vendors and service providers (engineering, manufacturers, fulfilment partners, software providers)\nOnboard and manage vendors according to Albus’ QMS\nBuild scalable, cost-effective vendor relationships with a focus on quality and reliability.\nMonitor vendor KPIs and ensure timely fulfilment aligned with operational needs.\nLogistics and Shipping\nExecute shipping and delivery of products, components and samples globally, including hands on work to prepare, pack, label and dispatch parcels.\nWork with fulfilment providers and couriers to manage outbound logistics and returns.\nEnsure documentation for customs, export compliance, and clinical regulations is correctly prepared and tracked.\nManage timelines and risks related to product distribution for commercial and partners studies.\nInventory Management\nMaintain accurate inventory of hardware, components, consumables and information assets.\nImplement systems for tracking equipment and product inventory, and maintenance schedules.\nOperations and Project Management (Internal and External Projects)\nSetup analytics dashboards to track inventory and logistics\nLead cross-functional project execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.\nTrack timelines and costs for multiple concurrent projects (e.g., device rollouts, commercial client implementations, academic studies) \nMaintain clear documentation and reporting to internal stakeholders and clients/partners.\nSetup up processes and implement process improvements across projects.\nFacilities Management\nMaintain day-to-day operations at our offices, including support with social activities \nEnsure safe, functional, and compliant working environments for our teams and partners\nExperience, skills and characteristics\n1. 8+ experience working in operations, supply chain, logistics, or project management, preferably with a 3+ in an early-stage (small team) high-growth startups or in a high-pressure fast-paced environment\n2. Experience introducing and maintaining structure, ideally in a healthtech or medtech environment\n3. Exceptional project management skills\n4. Experience in logistics, supplier and vendor management, including handling contracts and service level agreements.\n5. Experiences designing, implementing and maintaining processes under a quality management system, preferably in regulated environment (eg. ISO9001, ISO13485)\n6. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams\n7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills - able to work across teams and with external stakeholders.\n8.
