The Calibration Field Technician II will set up equipment, perform calibration on various instruments including, but not limited to, temperature, relative humidity, CO2, voltage, pressure, time, rotation, mass, etc. following documented procedures using precision standards. Calibration and preventive maintenance will be performed in-house or off-site based on business needs.\nOn-Site Expectations\n1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.\n90% traveling to customer sites.\nThis position is for day shift but may require occasional off shift and/or weekend coverage to accommodate schedules and/or project timelines.\nResponsibilities\nLead on calibration projects.\nPerform equipment and instrumentation calibration.\nProficient in specific calibration procedures.\nUnderstand interval and tolerance relating to calibration.\nUpdate the calibration database/equipment history.\nReport questionable calibration results to supervisor for evaluation and determination.\nAbide by ISO 17025 principles.\nMaintain good housekeeping practices.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED required. Military, Technical School, or Associate’s Degree preferred.\nClean driving record and valid driver's license required.\n3-5 years’ experience in calibration.\nExperience with HPLC troubleshooting and repair is preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAttention to detail and accuracy are essential.\nComputer literacy, especially in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Form Docs.\nElectronic, electrical, and mechanical skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong reporting skills.\nAbility to multi-task.\nStrong time management skills.\nGood organizational skills.\nStrong customer service skills.\nHonesty, integrity, and confidentiality.\nTravel Expectations\nOffsite local travel is required weekly.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
