This role oversees line setups, changeovers, and production interruptions, coordinating with technical teams to minimize downtime while maintaining cGMP and quality standards. The Maintenance Supervisor leads and develops Maintenance Mechanics, ensuring maintenance activities are performed safely, scheduled appropriately, and completed on time to support production objectives. Additionally, the role manages capital equipment, facility improvement, and tooling projects, ensuring all initiatives meet regulatory, operational, budgetary, and timeline requirements.\nOn-Site Expectations\n100% on-site position.\n1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.\nResponsibilities\nProduction Line Operations & Changeovers\nOversee and execute production line setup activities to ensure equipment readiness and compliance with pharmaceutical packaging requirements.\nManage batch and product changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and cGMP standards.\nCoordinate response efforts during production interruptions, including engaging technical resources and reallocating personnel to restore operations quickly.\nEquipment Reliability & Facility Support\nEnsure all production, packaging, and facility equipment operates safely, reliably, and with minimal unplanned downtime.\nMonitor equipment performance and initiate corrective actions to address operational issues and improve reliability.\nPartner with operations and technical teams to maintain a production environment that supports quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or related engineering discipline) required.\nAt least one year of experience in a Pharmaceutical cGMP Manufacturing setting is required.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or consumer healthcare packaging.\nMay be new to supervising staff but should have some experience managing projects and/or taking lead roles.\nExperience in a pharmaceutical cGMP manufacturing, packaging, OSD, or sterile setting required.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nExperience supporting automated packaging equipment, serialization systems, labeling equipment, cartoners, bottling lines, and ancillary utilities.\nDemonstrated experience managing capital improvement, facility, equipment, utility, or construction projects.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; experience with project management and scheduling tools preferred.\nStrong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
