You have the power to shape things to make them better.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Maintenance Supervisor at our Wagerup Refinery, you will be a frontline leader responsible for safely and efficiently coordinating maintenance activities across our operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will lead a team of tradespeople, servicepersons and/or mine workers to maximise equipment availability, minimise operational downtime and deliver maintenance activities in line with legislative requirements and Alcoa standards.\nYou will provide practical leadership and technical support, helping your team solve complex maintenance issues, strengthen capability and continually improve performance. To be successful in this role, you will bring:\nA Mechanical Trade Certificate, current Schedule 26 - Statutory Supervisor accreditation, and maintenance experience within a process plant, mining or similar heavy industrial environment.\nDemonstrated leadership experience, including coaching and developing teams, managing competing priorities and maintaining a strong safety culture.\nSound knowledge of maintenance practices, plant and equipment, together with strong problem-solving, decision-making and continuous improvement capability.\nStrong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, supported by relevant high-risk work, working at heights, confined space entry and hot work permit qualifications.\nAdditional information\nInterviews may progress prior to the closing date, although all applications will be considered.\nYou will only be contacted if you are shortlisted for an interview, this process can take up to four weeks from the closing date.\nBe part of shaping our organisation and join us in building a legacy of excellence for future generations.\nAbout the Location\nAlcoa's Wagerup Refinery is one of the world's most environmentally and technologically advanced alumina refineries, and produces approximately 2.9 million metric tons of alumina each year.
