We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.\nAs a Colombia BPA Sr. Associate supporting the LATAM BPA Team, you will own the geographical financial planning and analysis responsibilities for Colombia across the Vision Care and Surgical franchises. The role will collaborate closely with the broader LATAM BPA team to support aligned planning, reporting, and consolidation across the region. The position encompasses comprehensive financial planning and analysis, overseeing monthly and quarterly processes, supporting month-end close activities, and contributing to the establishment of operating plans. Key responsibilities include conducting detailed variance reporting, scenario analysis, and ad hoc financial modeling to provide actionable insights. The Senior Financial Planning Analyst will also partner closely with business leadership to drive informed decision-making and support Colombia's growth objectives through accurate forecasting and data-driven analysis.\nIn this role, a typical day will include:\nSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including forecasting, variance analysis, commission reporting, and statutory compliance for Colombia.\nDevelop and maintain forecasting models aligned with business goals, updating them based on market conditions and performance metrics.\nDocument and optimize financial processes across Surgical and Vision Care to ensure scalability and seamless transitions.\nConduct variance analysis and performance tracking, presenting findings and improvement plans to senior management.\nIntegrate data from multiple systems (ASPIRE, APMR, SAP) and streamline reporting for accuracy and efficiency.\nPrepare MFRs and QBRs, including templates, decks, and financial insights to support strategic discussions.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to consolidate inputs and ensure consistent financial messaging.\nMaintain and enhance financial models and reporting tools to support evolving franchises needs.\nProvide timely, relevant financial insights to leadership for planning and performance management.\nPerform ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario-based forecasting to support business decisions.\nEnsure disciplined use of financial systems and continuously seek optimization opportunities.\nSupport the Planning & Reporting Sr. Manager with report creation, template design, and process improvements.\nSupport for Planning & Reporting Sr. Manager: Collaborate closely with the Planning & Reporting Sr. Manager in delivering on key objectives, including financial report creation, template design, ad-hoc analysis, and continuous improvement of planning processes.\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics\nAt least three (3) years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) roles\nInnately curious and possesses a solid ability to think creatively and develop new solutions\nExceptional analytical abilities, capable of using data tools to drive decision-making and managing large pools of data in Excel\nIn-depth knowledge of SAP & BI tools and practical experience analyzing data, program metrics, and performance\nProactive communication style with the ability to build/foster relationships with business partners\nExcellent written and verbal
