Job Purpose

Internal title is: Associate I, Customer Service Support

  • Responsible for executing processes related to Consignment Inventory Management incl. reporting and analytics for defined scope
  • Provide technical/ business process interface between business team and ERP colleagues and foster opportunities for process improvements
  • Responsible for management, analysis and support of consignment stocks reconciliation as well as other various support tasks as required
  • Ensure visibility of consignments statuses (stock levels, rotations, missing, and counts) and periodically maintain the AFCM controls to detect deviations and apply improvement actions
  • Actively collaborate with sales force team for stable and effective performance of Alcon Consignment business model by performing or enabling detection and correction of system errors, monitoring and improving data quality, and fostering opportunities for process improvements.

Major Accountabilities

Consignment Inventory management:

Performs administrative activities related to consignment inventory management process to ensure compliance with procedures and policies as well as to follow business strategy and goals corresponding with defined business model:

  • Plans consignment accounts audits in alignment with responsible personnel (e.g. sales force or third party)
  • Performs account audit reconciliation in a timely manner incl. follow up with sales force when required
  • Follow’s up on product expiry to minimize risk and financial impact
  • Works closely with sales force to ensure meeting consignment inventory related indicators such as obsolescence, accurate inventory statuses, reasonable inventory levels and others as defined
  • Follow-up’s support of missing IOLS.
  • Supports consignment accounts management such as new account opening, monitoring and closing
  • Management, analysis, rationalization of consignment stock levels, as well as different support tasks, such as the generation of reports generated periodically.
  • Other OTI SAP tasks applicable to IOL and consignment.

IOL audit tool management:

  • Serves as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for team with regards to incidents and service requests
  • Provides initial support and diagnosis and, if possible, resolution for incidents to end users as well as training and maintains local training material
  • Provides ad-hoc support for sales force wrt tool usage and functionality

Reporting / Analytics:

  • Supports consignment related reporting by ensuring consistency in data sources
  • Prepares consignment performance status score cards for governance meetings
  • Ensures monitoring and follow up or escalation for defined key performance indicators
  • Supports creation or amendments of reporting tools for future improvements
  • AFCM controls related to consignment

Other:

  • Recommends process improvements and supports the organization by active participation in projects
  • Ensures effectiveness of Alcon’s consignment process by performing or enabling detection and correction of errors, monitoring and improving data quality.

Education: Business & Administration Degree

Experience:

2+ years in multinational companies

good analytical skills,

good excel skills (reconcile excels)

good time management

exposure to tenders/contract management is preferred

creative mindset to think out of the box

good internal and external communication skills.
