We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.\nAs the Manager, IT Business Systems Analysis, Alcon's Information Technology function, is primarily responsible for leading a team of analysts to ensure IT systems meet business requirements and are delivered on time. You will run day-to-day operations, build effective relationships with business partners, and enhance IT solutions to align with business needs.\nIn this role, a typical day will include:\nManage a team of IT business analysts, ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions across two sites in Tuas\nCollaborate with business leaders to identify technology needs and define requirements, ensuring IT systems and solutions align with business goals and objectives\nOversee and Lead project execution, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained\nMentor and develop junior analysts, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed\nMake decisions related to project management, resource allocation, and IT system design\nProvide recommendations to senior leadership regarding technology improvements and process optimizations\nAll associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.\nAssociates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.\nResponsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the service/system(s), ensuring that they are stable, has business continuity (as appropriate), running with minimal disruption to manufacturing operations, and maintained in a validated state.\nOperational and management tasks includes and not limited to the following:capacity, incident, problem, change, patch and lifecycle management\nowns and/or approves IT operational procedures\nleads crisis management (including priority 1/2 IT incidents) with relevant stakeholders and Head of IT, if required\nmaintain and ensure all application data is consistent across the various repositories\nleads gaps assessment\n\nEnsure adherence to IT, security and compliance standards/requirement set out and defined by external regulatory bodies, Alcon IT and/or Quality Organization.\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:\nDegree in Information Technology (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics) or equivalent technology related field.\nMinimum: 10+ years in a Senior IT Business Analyst or equivalent position in a manufacturing environment (Medical Device / Pharmaceutical industry preferred)\nExperience in full implementation of mid-large scale IT or OT system as the Technical SME / Project Manager\nExperience in leading a team (physical and remote) to deliver and support IT and/or OT systems (prior experience will be an added advantage)\nHands-on experience and knowledge in key Manufacturing applications such as MES (Siemens MES Camstar/OpCentre preferred)\nGood hands-on knowledge with Oracle, MS SQL and Postgre SQL databases\nGood hands-on knowledge in scripting and programming (eg.
