lead component supply planning and ensure material availability for customized surgical packs at our Puurs, Belgium site.\nIn this role, a typical day will include:\nCollaborating with Production Planning, Procurement, and Global S&OP teams to resolve supply challenges and prevent component shortages\nLeading daily operations and performance of a team of 3 planners, ensuring timely and accurate planning execution\nManaging inventory levels, safety stock, and budget ownership to maintain optimal coverage across approximately 1100 active components\nCoordinating supplier relationships and overseeing ordering, delivery priorities, and inbound warehouse flows\nDriving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting audits (cGMP/ISO), and leading component-related projects and rationalization efforts\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:\nMaster’s degree (or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience)\n2-5 years of experience in supply chain or planning within a complex manufacturing environment\nStrong knowledge of SAP MM/PP (MRP, purchasing, master data), with exposure to WMS, QM, or BI tools\nFluent in Dutch and English (French and/or German are a plus)\nHands-on
