Are you ready to join us?\nThis role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.\nThe Operator I, Production Technical Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling manual and operational tasks in production, ensuring equipment is set up, operated, maintained, and troubleshot to meet product specifications, schedules, and quality standards at the North Manufacturing site in Fort Worth, TX.\nIn this role, a typical day will include:\nPerform thorough visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.\nConduct in-process inspections during manufacturing and assembly to identify and address issues promptly.\nClearly and professionally communicate inspection findings to relevant teams.\nParticipate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving inspection techniques and industry standards.\nHandle manual or operational tasks as per guidelines to ensure smooth and efficient processes.\nSet up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.\nEnsure products meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.\n Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.\nMonitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.\nMaintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.\nReview work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for alignment with business objectives.\nComplete all required training and contribute to organizational compliance.\nAll associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.\nAssociates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.
