As an Operator II supporting our distribution center, you will be trusted with warehouse shipping & receiving, gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method recording received and shipped items at the Johns Creek Distribution, in Johns Creek, Georgia.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and / or receiving duties which may require the use of a hand truck and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data.
- Receives incoming materials or prepares material for shipment.
- Verifies quantity, weight and conformance of materials prepares records of materials shipped.
- Routes materials to destinations.
- May lay out, fabricate and assemble nonstandard crates and boxes.
- Rotate on a monthly basis to areas withing the department.
- Able to lead a small group of individuals.
- Good communication skills, email-face to face-work direction-training
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Work hours: 40 hours per week: 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday: 3:00PM EST - 11:30PMEST (some weekends required)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Basic Computer Experience
- Prior Leadership Experience
- RF Scanner Experience
