Are you ready to join us?\nThis role is part of Alcon's Information Technology function, a team that delivers cutting-edge technology solutions to Alcon associates and customers to help our people and the world see brilliantly.\nThe Principal I, Product Development, Security & Operations (DevSecOps) (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for leading the design and optimization of secure product development and operational processes, integrating security within the software development lifecycle, and ensuring systems are efficient and scalable. Specifics include:\nLead the integration of security measures into product development and operational workflows\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines and automate processes across development and operations\nEnsure infrastructure is secure, scalable, and supports efficient product delivery\nProvide technical guidance on infrastructure management, security best practices, and automation tools\nMonitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance security and operational efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain scalable data models and structures in Salesforce Data 360.\nDesign, build, and optimize real-time data pipelines from Salesforce and external sources.\nImplement advanced segmentation, identity resolution, and audience activation workflows.\nIntegrate AI-driven insights and automation to enhance business outcomes.\nEnsure data quality, governance, and compliance with Alcon and regulatory standards.\nTroubleshoot, optimize, and document technical solutions.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.\nStay current with Salesforce Data 360, AI, and integration best practices.\nKey Responsibilities/Minimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years of total experience.\n 2+ years of relevant experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP/Data 360), including data modeling, integration, and segmentation.\nProficiency in Salesforce APIs, ETL/ELT tools, and connectors.\nExperience with real-time data processing, architectures).\nKnowledge of AI/ML concepts and Salesforce Einstein.\nUnderstanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, GxP).\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nSalesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification preferred.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, and writing complex SQL Sentences.\nFamiliarity with agile development and DevOps practices.\nPrior experience in regulated industries (healthcare, pharma) is a plus.\nWork hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST\nRelocation assistance: Yes\nEmployment Scams: Alcon is aware of employment scams which make false use of our company name or leader’s names to defraud job seekers.
