We cultivate an inclusive culture and invite diverse, talented individuals to join us in shaping the future of eye care.\nSenior Associate, Financial Reporting & Statutory Compliance serves as a key point of contact for financial reporting, statutory compliance, and accounting activities supporting manufacturing entities across APAC, primarily Malaysia and Singapore. The role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of statutory audits, corporate tax filings, financial reporting activities, and regulatory submissions while maintaining compliance with local statutory and tax requirements.\nThe position collaborates closely with Statutory Auditors, Tax Agents, Global Tax, Finance, Record-to-Report (R2R), Record-to-Payment (R2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), local business teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and reporting accuracy. The role also serves as a subject matter expert on statutory reporting and tax matters while contributing to process improvements and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nStatutory Compliance\nCoordinate and collect information from various functional teams, including Record-to-Report, Record-to-Payment, Order-to-Cash, warehouse operations, business analytics, and local stakeholders to support external statutory audits.\nAct as the primary liaison between auditors and internal stakeholders, ensuring audit requests are clearly communicated and completed accurately within agreed timelines.\nPrepare statutory financial accounts and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.\nWork closely with external Tax Agents to provide required documentation and information for corporate tax filings.\nEnsure statutory and tax filings are completed accurately and submitted within regulatory deadlines.\nSupport indirect tax submissions, government surveys, and other periodic statutory reporting requirements.\nCoordinate with government authorities and internal stakeholders on corporate tax matters, VAT/GST claims, and tax refund processes.\nPrepare monthly Corporate Tax and Deferred Tax calculations and address queries from Global Tax teams.\nPrepare month-end FCRS schedules and tax-related reporting packages.\nServe as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for local statutory reporting and taxation matters.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations.\nSupport implementation of audit recommendations and tax-related corrective actions.\nPrepare and maintain Transfer Pricing documentation, including industry benchmarking and business analysis from a tax perspective.\nSupport tax audits and provide required documentation and explanations to tax authorities.\nFinancial Reporting\nPerform month-end review of balance sheet accounts and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.\nAct as the primary contact for Consolidation and Reporting teams for reporting-related queries and follow-up actions.\nParticipate in regional balance sheet review activities and reporting discussions.\nServe as the key contact for local stakeholders on accounting and financial reporting matters.\nCollaborate with local FP&A teams and Finance leadership on accounting treatments, reporting requirements, and finance initiatives.\nSupport period-end closing activities and ensure timely submission of financial reporting deliverables.\nIdentify reporting risks, control gaps, and opportunities for process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and compliance.\nCompliance & Continuous Improvement\nEnsure all activities are performed in accordance with company policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.\nSupport internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate documentation.\nMaintain complete, accurate, and auditable records for statutory, tax, and financial reporting activities.\nParticipate in process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nPromote a culture of compliance, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.\nWHAT YOU'LL BRING\nEducation\n(minimum/desirable)\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.\nProfessional accounting certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent is an added advantage.\nExperience\n3 to 5 years of relevant experience in External Audit, Statutory Reporting, Financial Reporting, Tax Compliance, or related accounting functions.\nPrior experience with a public accounting or audit firm is preferred.\nStrong knowledge of statutory financial reporting, corporate taxation, and financial accounting principles.\nExperience operating within a multinational and matrix organization environment.\nExposure to manufacturing operations and APAC statutory reporting requirements is an advantage.\nExperience supporting external audits, tax filings, transfer pricing, and regulatory reporting activities.\nTechnical Skills\nSAP knowledge is preferred.\nStrong understanding of financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and period-end close processes.\nKnowledge of corporate tax, deferred tax calculations, and statutory compliance requirements.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.\nStrong analytical,
