We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.\nSenior Demand Planning Specialist\nIn this role, a typical day will include:\nAlign Commercial and Supply Chain plans, translating business priorities and market insights into an executable demand and supply plan.\nLead the monthly Demand Review with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on assumptions, risks, opportunities, and forecast changes.\nOwn the demand forecast submission for all affiliates and franchises within scope, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.\nMaintain and monitor master data, ensuring data quality and supporting reliable planning processes.\nDefine the NPL strategy and planning approach, coordinating with cross-functional teams to support successful new product launches.\nDrive financial reconciliation, ensuring alignment between the operational demand plan and financial expectations.\nProactively manage obsolescence risk by monitoring inventory exposure, identifying risks early, and implementing mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders to minimize write-offs and excess inventory.\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:\nRequired QualificationsRelevant experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, S&OP/IBP, or a related planning function, ideally within a complex, international, or matrix organization.\nStrong understanding of demand forecasting and planning processes, including forecast analysis, assumptions management, risks and opportunities, and performance monitoring.\nAbility to lead meeting with key leaders from different departments in a muti cultural environnement.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate large amounts of data and market information into clear insights and actionable recommendations.\nGood understanding of inventory management, including excess and obsolete inventory risks, inventory optimization, and proactive mitigation actions.\nExperience supporting New Product Launches (NPL), including launch forecasting, ramp-up assumptions, lifecycle management, and coordination with Commercial and Supply Chain teams.\nStrong attention to data quality and master data integrity, with an understanding of their impact on planning performance.\nExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively and drive decisions.\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.\nFluent in English, both written and spoken.\n\nPreferred QualificationsExperience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, or another complex multinational environment.\nExperience working with planning systems and ERP tools such as SAP, APO/IBP, Kinaxis, or equivalent.\nAdvanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization/analytics tools, such as Power BI.\nExperience working across multiple countries, affiliates, franchises, or business units.\nKnowledge of product lifecycle management, particularly launch, phase-in/phase-out, discontinuation, and obsolescence management.\nAdditional languages would be considered an advantage. If relevant for the position, Turkish language skills could be listed as a nice-to-have rather than a requirement.\n\nKey Competencies / BehaviorsBusiness partnering: Builds strong relationships with
