Join us and contribute to a leading organization where your efforts make a meaningful difference daily.\nWe are seeking a dedicated Senior Network Operations Analyst to operate and improve our Infrastructure Services which include LAN, WAN, Data Center, Voice & Video and Public Cloud platforms. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our global infrastructure services are delivered and managed excellently, adhering to best practices and industry operational standards.\n· Act as a primary contact for infrastructure-related services, ensuring alignment with internal standards and guidelines.\n· Collaborate with various teams to maintain service quality, security, and compliance.\n· Participate in service reviews, continual improvement and change management sessions.\n· Monitor, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain the Data Center, LAN, WAN, Voice & Video and Public Cloud infrastructure, focusing on resiliency and security.\nKey Responsibilities:\n· Manage NOC Infrastructure Services to meet agreed service levels.\n· Configuration and troubleshooting knowledge on SDWAN, WLC, Juniper mist, Vxlan, ISE, Firewall’s.\n· Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching technologies on Cisco and Juniper platforms.\n· Perform network performance monitoring, optimization, and fault resolution.\n· Manage IP addressing, subnetting, and network segmentation in Bluecat.\n· Deploy, configure, and support SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, or equivalent).\n· Participate in project and service reviews, ensuring adherence to budget, quality and process, compliance, and security standards.\n· Support incident and major incident management and ensuring accurate service documentation.\n· Monitor Infrastructure services availability, capacity and performance, proposing improvements where necessary.\n· Independently driving system upgrades, patches, and migrations to enhance infrastructure capabilities.\n· Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.\n· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (systems, storage, applications) for integrated solutions.\n· Recommend improvements in network design, performance, and automation.\n· Stay current with emerging networking technologies and industry trends.\nBenefits of Working with Us:\n· Engage in dynamic work environments and collaborate with passionate professionals.\n· Be part of Alcon's new Network Operations Center.\n· Collaborate with passionate professionals.\n· Experience in an international, collaborative workplace.\n· Get involved with cutting-edge Infrastructure technologies and service management practices.\nKey Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:\n· University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n· 5+ years of IT experience in Networks, Cloud, Voice, with over 3 years in an advanced operations role.\n· Cisco CCNA/CCNP or other Cisco/Juniper/AWS advanced industry certification in the areas of Network, Cloud, Collaboration and Voice.\nStrong knowledge of routing & switching protocols like(OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, STP).\nKnowledge of voice traffic and CUCM server will be advantage.\nHands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper networking devices and SD-WAN solutions.\nProficiency in troubleshooting complex network issues.\nGood communication and documentation skills.\nReady to work in shifts during weekends.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n·Experience in troubleshooting and resolving incidents and major incidents.\n· Experience in implementing changes and fulfilling IT Infrastructure requests.\n· Must be able to work independently on complex technical issues.\n· Ability to communicate and collaborate with end users and service providers.\n· Must be able to solve problems in a structured and methodical way.\n· Proficiency with ServiceNow, ITIL, Cisco, Juniper, AWS, Azure platforms.\nKey Competencies:\n· Results-driven approach with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.\n· Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality service delivery.\n· Ability to act swiftly and decisively, prioritizing fast and effective solutions.\n· Demonstrated self-discipline and commitment to achieving set objectives.\nAdditional Information:\n· This position requires excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.\n· The role is suited for individuals experienced in coordinating with service providers and managing complex infrastructure environments.\n· Cross-cultural awareness and a global mindset is needed.\nWork hours: Rotational Shifts and weekend support.\nRelocation assistance: Yes\nEmployment Scams: Alcon is aware of employment scams which make false use of our company name or leader’s names to defraud job seekers.
