In this role, you will ensure compliance with financial transaction recording standards, control and reconcile accounts and records, and prepare accounting reports for both internal and external audiences. You will also support cost accounting, budgeting, and manage accounts payable/receivable and credit & collections.\nIn this role, a typical day will include:\nEnsure compliance with financial transaction recording standards (e.g., general ledger, cash payments/collections, tax transactions, etc.).\n\nControl and reconcile accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc.).\n\nPrepare accounting reports/schedules for internal audiences (management reporting) and/or for external audiences (compliance reporting), including consolidation of financial statements, cash flow reporting, budget reporting, etc.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting.\n\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently.\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.\n\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.\n\nProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (SAP, Excel, PowerPoint).\n\nAdvanced English level; able to express concerns and ideas comfortably in multicultural environments.\n\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\n\nHOW YOU
