trusted to drive demand, supply, and inventory planning activities while ensuring product availability and operational excellence at Bornem.\nIn this role, a typical day will include:\nCollaborating with cross-functional partners to identify and resolve supply chain challenges, ensuring continuity of supply and achievement of service level targets.\nManaging demand, supply, and inventory planning processes to optimize inventory levels, reduce backorders, and improve customer service performance.\nAnalyzing supply chain data, conducting root cause investigations, and developing actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.\nPartnering with operations, procurement, engineering, logistics, and regional stakeholders to align planning activities and support business objectives.\nUtilizing ERP and planning systems to monitor performance, generate insights, and drive measurable improvements in inventory, service, and financial metrics.\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline.\n 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, operations, or a related field.\nStrong expertise in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, backorder management, and service level optimization.\nProficiency with ERP and planning systems (SAP, MRP, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and decision-making.\nAdvanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience interpreting complex datasets and driving continuous improvement.\nDemonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, foster accountability, and effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams.\nStrong financial acumen with an
