As a Vision Suite Manager supporting our Surgical Business in the Nordic region, you will be trusted to drive growth across Alcon's advanced diagnostic, visualization, and digital surgery portfolio while building strong partnerships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders across Denmark and Norway.
This role covers Denmark and Norway and requires the successful candidate to be based in one of these countries. Frequent travel throughout the territory is required to support customer engagement, demonstrations, training activities, and business development. Relocation support is not available for this position.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Driving sales growth, market share, and portfolio penetration for Alcon's diagnostic and visualization technologies, including ARGOS, VERION, LuxOR Revalia, NGENUITY, and future innovations across the assigned territory.
- Collaborating closely with IOL Managers, Account Managers, Surgical Equipment Managers, Vitreoretinal Managers, and other cross-functional partners to identify opportunities, generate leads, and execute account growth strategies.
- Acting as the primary specialist for surgical visualization and diagnostic systems by demonstrating equipment, delivering training, and supporting healthcare professionals in operating room and clinical environments.
- Developing strategic account plans, managing sales opportunities through Salesforce, preparing quotations, and supporting customers throughout the sales lifecycle while ensuring compliance with company procedures and medical device regulations.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, digital platform developments, and customer needs to identify opportunities that strengthen Alcon's competitive position and customer engagement.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- University degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical devices, capital equipment sales, or a surgical healthcare environment, preferably within ophthalmology.
- Proven success in driving sales performance and business growth within hospital, clinic, or operating theatre environments.
- Strong knowledge of digital visualization systems, diagnostics, connectivity solutions, and digital workflows within healthcare settings.
- Experience working with healthcare professionals, clinical and non-clinical key opinion leaders, and private sector customers.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce and the ability to manage opportunities, account plans, and sales reporting effectively.
- Excellent presentation, communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, learning agility, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Fluency in either Danish or Norwegian and strong English communication skills.
