You will be a key member of the Veriforce software development team, working to deploy, monitor, and operate our software across key production systems that serve tens of thousands of customers. Your work will have a strong impact on user experience, customer satisfaction, and company growth. We work in an agile environment utilizing modern tools such as AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Kafka. The ideal candidate will be experienced, organized, positive, driven, and a team player. What that means day-to-day: \nManage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers; run standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. \n\nProvide technical thought leadership in collaboration with Architecture, SecOps, Data Engineering, and Development \n\nPartner with developers and product teams to capture tooling, automation, and infrastructure requirements; translate needs into actionable stories and designs. \n\nDesign, implement, and maintain continuous delivery systems and advise development teams on code and implementation to increase application resiliency, operability, and best practices \n\nDesign, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code for both development and production environments with a focus on Kubernetes and Kafka. \n\nDesign, implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions and monitor the system health, taking action to maintain up-time and performance SLAs \n\nWhat you’ll need to be successful: \n\n7+ years of relevant experience in Dev Ops in a SaaS environment \n\nExpertise in distributed systems including container orchestration, distributed messaging, and distributed databases with an emphasis on Kubernetes and Kafka \n\nExpertise in cloud platforms, primarily AWS, and infrastructure-as-code languages, with a focus on Terraform and Ansible. \n\nExpertise in automated deployment methodologies, especially Jenkins and GitHub Actions \n\nPrior professional application development experience with a particular focus on SaaS applications and web development \n\nKnowledge of software engineering and design principles such as design patterns, architectural patterns, CAP Theorem, event driven architecture, and similar \n\nMust be security-minded at all levels \n\nNice to have: \nExperience with NGINX, networking, and security \n\nExperience with NoSQL and/or \"Big Data\" technologies \n\nKnowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL \n\nExperience with C# and .NETCore \n\nWhat you’ll get in return: \n\nHere are just a few of the great reasons to join our team!\n\nWork with a global team!
