ALDI Good Different.\n Grow your career with a global retailer as a Freight Execution Coordinator within our National Supply Chain department at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity.\nAs a Freight Execution Coordinator, you will join a team dedicated to maintaining the relationships with our carriers, by planning, preparing, and processing freight activities. With an eye on continuous improvement, we are looking for a proactive individual with a robust understanding of an agile and fast-paced FMCG environment. Your pursuit of efficiency, effectiveness, and product availability will ensure our products and services reach our customers in a timely and cost-effective manner, maintaining our competitive edge.\nWhat does the role look like?\nProvide timely and accurate information related to the status of freight movement.\nAssist in the relationship management of freight carriers and external stakeholders.\nHandle negotiations with external service providers to ensure optimum rates and results.\nAssist in the resolution of supply chain challenges, with a focus on long term solutions.\nManage freight claims through investigation, resolution, root cause analysis, and cost recovery activities.\nMaintain various supply chain matrixes, templates and spreadsheets.\nSupport the team with ad-hoc administrative tasks.\nAnd the best part?
