This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with quality and regulatory standards.\nWhat you’ll do\nProgram Planning & Coordination\nMaintain and track project data including resources, timelines, and costs across capital (including reactive capital) and maintenance programs \nCoordinate activities across internal teams and external partners to support successful project delivery \nFacilitate meetings with internal teams and contractors to monitor progress and address risks or roadblocks \nSupport Managers, Program Delivery with insights on program performance, achievements, and risks\nReporting & Analysis\nPrepare and analyze reports related to resource allocation, planning, and expenditures \nConduct variance analysis and exception reporting to identify trends and areas of concern \nProvide clear, structured updates to stakeholders to support decision-making\nProcess Improvement & Systems\nContribute to the development and implementation of project management methodologies and tools \nMonitor project performance and recommend improvements to processes, templates, and workflows \nIdentify opportunities to streamline or automate processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery\nStakeholder Collaboration\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external partners \nLiaise with stakeholders to gather project information, respond to inquiries, and communicate updates \nPartner with teams across Asset Strategy and Operations to review outcomes and drive continuous improvement\nCompliance & Support\nEnsure work aligns with legislative, regulatory, and Health & Safety requirements \nProvide technical and analytical support for planning, design, and execution of projects and initiatives \nSupport additional responsibilities as required\nCorporate Values and Conduct:\nDemonstrate professional conduct and align with Alectra’s core values of safety, teamwork, and customer focus.\nOther Duties:\nPerform additional tasks as assigned to support operational objectives\nWho you are\nEducation & Technical Knowledge\nDiploma or degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) \nProject Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset \nExperience with business analysis and project planning practices \nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) \nExperience with project management tools (e.g., Oracle Primavera) is an asset \nUnderstanding of project scope, requirements, and processes within the utilities sector is an asset\nExperience\nApproximately 3+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, or quality control within a production or similar environment \nExperience developing and maintaining master schedules aligned to reporting requirements \nExperience working with ERP systems is considered an asset \nExperience in a unionized utility environment is an asset\nSkills/Abilities/Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights \nClear and effective communication skills, with the ability to present technical information in a concise and structured way \nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment \nStrong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships across teams \nValid Class “G” driver’s license\nWhere you will work\nHybrid: This role is based in a hybrid environment, allowing for a mix of remote and in-office work to support team collaboration and business needs.\nCompensation\nAt Alectra, Compensation for non-union positions is determined within a defined salary range for each role. Placement within the salary range depends on several factors, including qualifications, relevant experience, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
