This role partners closely with Walmart's Emergency Communications Team and Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to maintainplatform health, support restricted and full administrators, resolve technical issues, and ensure the platform is configured to support emergency operations. \nWhile the Walmart Senior Manager owns the overall program strategy, governance, and roadmap, this position is responsible forthe tactical execution and day-to-day upkeep of the platform and serves as AlertMedia'sembedded strategic partner for platform governance. \nWhat you get to do every day: \nAdminister Walmart's Emergency Communications Platform \nServe as the primary day-to-day system administrator for Walmart's AlertMedia platform.\nManage users, permissions, groups, templates, and platform configurations.\nValidate user data and organizational structures.\nSupport platform configuration changes and feature enhancements. \nMaintain Platform Readiness \nMonitor platform health and proactively identify operational issues.\nConduct routine system health checks and administrative audits.\nEnsure the platform remains ready to support emergency activations.\nValidate existing and new associate data in the platform. \nProvide Technical Support \nTroubleshoot platform issues for Walmart administrators and business users.\nResolve user access, configuration, and notification delivery issues.\nCoordinate with AlertMedia Support and Engineering to resolve complex technical issues.\nDocument issues, resolutions, and recommended improvements. \nTrain & Enable Administrators \nDeliver onboarding and refresher training for platform administrators.\nDevelop and maintain job aids, SOPs, and training documentation.\nProvide guidance on platform administration and best practices.\nSupport notification exercises and administrator readiness. \nSupport Continuous Improvement \nIdentify opportunities to improve platform performance and user experience.\nAssist with testing new features, validating platform enhancements, and deploying new integrations.\nSupport operational readiness and KPI reporting.\nSupport initiatives to import targeted associate data globally. \nPartner with Walmart \nServe as AlertMedia's dedicated operational resource for Walmart.\nPartner closely with Walmart's GSOC and Emergency Communications Team. \nWhat you bring to the role: \n5+ years in enterprise SaaS, across technical account management, program management, or customer success in a client-embedded or dedicated account capacity.\nDemonstrated ability to operate independently at a client site within a large, decentralized, matrixed enterprise organization; experience navigating dual-organization reporting dynamics is a strong plus.\nSelf-motivated and action-oriented, with the independence to operate effectively without daily on-site AlertMedia team presence.\nExcellent project management skills with proven ability to prioritize competing tasks and stakeholders across two organizations.\nComfort with technical platform administration depth (user/permission management, integrations, data validation) rather than pure relationship management.\nSkilled at applying AI and emerging technologies to synthesize information, improve decision-making, enhance communication, and drive customer outcomes while maintaining strong judgment and empathy.\nExperience supporting a security, emergency management, or crisis communications function is a strong plus.\nAbility to pass the required background check and clearance processes across Walmart and AlertMedia. \nLocation:This is a role that will be based in Bentonville, AR or Austin, TX requiring frequent travel to Bentonville, AR. \nSponsorship:AlertMedia does not sponsor employment visas.
