The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronics manufacturing and troubleshooting methodologies. The Electronic Assembler will engage across core performance teams at Alertus to ensure all hardware is produced, validated, and shipped to meet customer requirements efficiently and cost-effectively.\nThis is an office based role and requires reporting to our HQ in Baltimore daily.\nA Day in the Life:\nPrepare and hand-solder all levels of electronic components as part of our electronics manufacturing Production team\nRead and interpret engineering blueprints for a wide variety of devices and components\nRework, repair, and modify printed circuit boards and/or assemblies to required specifications\nProduce and ship all Alertus hardware\nManage and maintain bench stock to ensure timely flow of the production queue\nTroubleshoot and repair broken equipment\nUse general power tools to produce Alertus equipment\nPerform other tasks as assigned by supervisor\nRequired Skills & Abilities:\nProven experience with hand-soldering electronic components \nAbility to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications\nHands-on proficiency in operating general power tools, hand tools, and electronic diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters)\nExcellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills across departments (Sales, Implementation, Production)\nAbility to lift at least 40 lbs and work onsite in a manufacturing/assembly environment\nDesired Skills:\nIPC-A-610 soldering certification and/or IPC-WHMA-620 cable & wire assembly certification\nFamiliarity with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing processes and defect identification\nKnowledge of ESD/static dissipative protocols and controlled-torque tools\nExperience in an ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100 quality environment\nEducation & Experience:\nAssociate’s degree or trade school certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field preferred.\n2-3+ years of experience in
