In this role, you’ll be hands-on in supporting production, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and delivering projects from concept to introduction in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with experience in vehicle manufacturing who thrives in a hands-on setting and wants to grow their career while contributing to a leading organization!\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\nChampion safety by introducing and ensuring adherence to safe working practices\nDrive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, cost efficiency, and quality\nSupport production flow by troubleshooting and resolving electrical and process issues on the manufacturing line and production floor\nPerform electrical troubleshooting on vehicles, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions\nRead and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to support assembly, diagnostics, and process improvements\nStandardize and optimize operations through developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safe Working Practices, and line build documentation\nLead and support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), ensuring accurate implementation and documentation of design and process changes\nEnhance production efficiency with effective workstation and line layouts, takt charts, time studies, kit lists, and travel documents\nCollaborate with teams by attending line support meetings, escalating and resolving issues, and assisting with build hour reviews\nProvide technical expertise in tools, equipment procurement, and process monitoring\nDeliver results that meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support long-term operational success\nRequirements\nWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\nAn Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent technical education/experience)\n3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within vehicle manufacturing (e.g., buses, automotive, heavy equipment, RVs, or similar industries)\nStrong background in electrical engineering and electrical systems troubleshooting (essential)\nExperience working directly on vehicles within a production or manufacturing setting\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings\nExperience supporting or leading Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) within a production environment\nExperience conducting time studies and applying process optimization techniques\nProven track record of process analysis and continuous improvement projects\nExperience with Lean tools and structured problem-solving methodologies\nStrong communication, organizational, and presentation skills, with the ability to work across all business levels\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams\nFamiliarity with systems such as QPulse or Syspro (a plus but not required)\nBenefits\nWHY JOIN US:\nCompetitive compensation and benefit package\n401(k) plan with company match\nOn-the-job training provided in a continuous learning environment\nAdvancement opportunities with a growing company\nApart of a team who is leading the world’s electrification of mass mobility\nOUR WHY: We exist to move people.
