Our world-class technologies, our systems, equipment, and services must create solutions that help our customers stay ahead.\nBid & Project Engineer - Skid-Mounted Systems, Oil & Gas\nLocation: Pune\nFunction: Engineering / Quotation / Projects\nExperience: 6-8 years\nQualification: B.E./B.Tech - Mechanical / Chemical Engineering\nJob Purpose\nWe are looking for a hands-on Bid & Project Engineer with experience in skid-mounted systems for the Oil & Gas and process industries. The role covers the complete lifecycle from RFQ and technical bidding to detailed engineering, manufacturing support, FAT and final documentation\nKey Responsibilities\nReview RFQs, specifications, P&IDs, datasheets, codes and customer requirements.\nDevelop technical solutions, scope of supply, battery limits and package configurations.\nPrepare technical proposals, compliance statements, deviations, datasheets, P&IDs, equipment lists and BOMs.\nPerform equipment selection, engineering calculations and component sizing.\nPrepare vendor enquiries and technically evaluate supplier offers.\nProvide engineering inputs for skid layouts, piping, GA, fabrication and support drawings.\nReview drawings for technical accuracy, compliance, accessibility, maintainability and manufacturability.\nPrepare and review technical specifications, design basis, control philosophy and testing requirements.\nSupport procurement, fabrication, assembly and resolution of shop-floor technical issues.\nParticipate in inspections and lead or support FAT activities.\nResolve customer comments, technical deviations, non-conformities and FAT punch points.\nEnsure final as-built documentation is complete and accurate.\nCoordinate effectively with Sales, Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, suppliers, customers and EPCs.\nRequired Skills and Experience\n6-8 years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, packaged equipment, skid systems or process industries.\nExperience in both pre-order bidding and post-order project execution.\nStrong P&ID, equipment selection and technical documentation skills.\nKnowledge of pumps, vessels, filters, heat exchangers, valves, piping, instrumentation and control systems.\nExperience with vendor technical evaluation and drawing review.\nHands-on manufacturing support and FAT experience.\nAbility to solve technical problems independently and manage deviations effectively.\nWorking knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, IEC, NACE and applicable customer/EPC standards.\nWhy Join Us?\nOpportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.\nExposure to global suppliers and international projects.\nBuild a strong professional network across different countries and cultures.\nPlay a key role in delivering successful customer projects.\nContinuous learning and career development opportunities.\nJoin Alfa Laval and take technical ownership from customer RFQ to successful project delivery.\nReporting to: Group Leader Quotation and Engineering\nHSS Project Execution Team\n\"We care about diversity, inclusion and equity in our recruitment processes.
