To support an expanding market, we are now looking for a Service Coordinator to support the service organisation and local office based in Shanghai. You will be working closely with the local team of ten people as well as with the service coordinators and other functions based in Europe.\nAbout the job\nThe Service Coordinator reports to the Global Field Service Manager, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Shanghai Site Manager.\nThis is a broad and dynamic role that plays a key part in ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. The primary focus is service and commissioning coordination, while the position also includes responsibilities within claims handling, office administration, and cross-functional support to various departments within Scanjet.\nAs Service Coordinator, you will act as a key point of contact for colleagues across our operations in China, Indonesia, and Europe, working closely with both internal teams and external customers.\nMain tasks and responsibilities:\n· Coordinate service and commissioning activities across China.\nCommunicate with Scanjet Field Service Engineers and maintain an up-to-date resource and scheduling plan.\nLiaise with shipyards, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure activities are aligned with project timelines and customer requirements.\nSupport the efficient planning and allocation of service resources.\nHelp ensure that service engineers have the necessary training, certifications, equipment, and documentation to perform their work safely and effectively.\nCoordinate and administer customer claims in a timely and professional manner.\nProvide administrative support to the local Service Manager and Site Manager.\nSupport local business operations and various internal functions as needed.\nAssist with office administration and warehouse-related activities, including inventory monitoring and stock control.\nTo be successful in this role we see that you have:\nRequired qualifications\nPrevious experience in a coordination, administrative, or customer service role.\nStrong written and spoken communication skills in both Chinese and English.\nExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.\nA customer-oriented and service-minded approach.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nThe ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.\nA proactive, energetic, and solution-oriented mindset.\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across different cultures and functions.\nWe care about diversity, inclusion and equity in our recruitment processes.
