This is a safety-sensitive position that involves operating heavy equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts, requiring a strong commitment to safe work practices. Your work will span building and grounds upkeep, machine and tool maintenance, and hands-on technical tasks across electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and machining disciplines. You’llinstall, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems-including cranes, hydraulics, and welding machines-while ensuring every activity meets our strict safety and certification standards. This role calls for a proactive problem-solver with a strong senseof responsibility and teamwork. By maintainingreliable operations, you’llhelp Alfa Laval continue pioneering positive impact through sustainable performance and technical excellence.\nThis position is in Tulsa, Oklahoma and/or Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.\nAs a part of the team, you will:\nEnsure the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance,\n\nAssistsenior Technicians with troubleshooting by following diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering specifications, and troubleshooting malfunctions.\n\nApply correct methods and practices in preventive maintenance, inspection, repair, and minor construction of buildings and utilities.\n\nSupport Maintenance Technician II, Team Leadand Manager when additionalsupport is needed.\n\nUse proper Lock-Out Tag-Out processes and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.\n\nNotify management and/or the HS&E specialist of any safety risks or repairs required.\n\nProvide necessary materials to various workstations and locations to support ongoing operations.\n\nUnderstand and clarify work plans to complete assignments with high quality and timeliness.\n\nSelect and safely use a variety of hand, power, and specialty tools for maintenance tasks.\n\nAssistsenior technicians, when necessary, to ensure team success.\n\nIdentifyand recommend replacements or improvements when performing preventative maintenance and repairs.\n\nAdjust functional parts and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.\n\nConserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently to achieve job results.\n\nAssistother trade personnel as needed to support team success.\n\nKeep the workplace organized during tasks and ensure it is returned to its original condition after work is completed.\n\nPerform welding and fabrication when necessary to support maintenance and repair activities.\n\nAll employees are expected to prioritize safety, regardless of role. This includes strict adherence to company-wide safety policies and procedures, proactive promotion of safe practices, and addressing unsafe behaviors or conditions in a constructive and positive manner.\n\nEmployees expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, courtesy, and cooperation toward colleagues, customers, vendors, and visitors.\n\nFull compliance with all Alfa Laval policies and procedures is requiredto maintaina respectful, safe, and productive work environment.\n\nAdditionaljob duties that maybe requiredof some team members:\nPerform general electrical work, including testing electrical components and taking equipment readings with various tools and meters to determine necessary repairs.\n\nRepair and conduct preventive maintenance on CNC controllers to ensure reliable operation.\n\nPerform weld repairs to equipment, achieving quality and safety levels that exceed original specifications.\n\nDemonstrate professionalism and cooperation in interactions with fellow employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.\n\nContribute to individual and company performance improvement through ongoing education and participation in process improvement activities.\n\nFollow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements, proactively encouraging safe behavior and addressing unsafe conditions in a positive manner.\n\nComply withall company policies and procedures to maintaina safe and productive work environment.\n\nFollow directions and instructions, seeking clarification when needed to ensure tasks are completed correctly.\n\nAssist Senior Techs, Lead or Supervisor with various tasks as requiredto support team objectives.\n\nCross-trainin other areas or departments to enhance versatility and support operational needs.\n\nHelp train new employees under the guidance of the Team Leader or Manager.\n\nMaintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift and upon completion of work.\n\nWhat you know:\nYou have a HighSchool degree or GED equivalentwith relevant experience:\nValid Driver’s License required\n\nBasic math skills required including abilityto read a tape measure.\n\nPrior maintenance experience preferred.\n\nKnowledge of Hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting preferred\n\nElectrical or mechanical technician experience or education preferred.\n\nForklift and scissor lift operation experience preferred.\n\nOverhead crane experience preferred.\n\nOvertime and minimal local travel (\n\nPhysical Factors:\nPhysical Requirements (lifting, climbing, standing, equipment and/or motor vehicle use):\nJobrequiresstanding orwalking 100% of workday.\n\nRegularly exert up to 75 lbsof force occasionally; 50 lbsof force frequently\n\nRequired to have visual acuity to operatemotor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.\n\nAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Steel toe boots, safety glasses, fall protection, arc flash, and ear plugs)\n\nEnvironmental Factors:\nMust wear Personal Protective Equipment: steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs\n\nExposure to various weather conditionscold or hot, wet/humid conditions, and loud noise levels.
