As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and growing our business across industrial markets. You will be responsible for promoting both equipment and aftermarket solutions, helping customers improve efficiency, reliability, and sustainability throughout the lifecycle of their operations.

What you will do:

  • Develop and grow sales of Alfa Laval equipment, service offerings, and aftermarket solutions within assigned industrial segments and territories.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with customers, end users, engineering companies, OEMs, contractors, and channel partners.
  • Promote the full portfolio of products and services, including equipment, spare parts, maintenance agreements, upgrades, modernization projects, and technical services.
  • Manage the complete sales process from opportunity identification through quotation, negotiation, order closure, and follow-up.
  • Conduct customer visits, technical discussions, and commercial presentations to understand customer needs and propose value-adding solutions.
  • Support customers in optimizing operational performance, energy efficiency, productivity, and sustainability through Alfa Laval technologies.
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive growth and strengthen customer engagement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer requirements to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with service teams, application engineers, product specialists, and internal stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and CRM updates.
  • Contribute to regional growth initiatives and business development activities.

What you bring:

  • Experience in technical sales, field sales, business development, or account management within industrial markets.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, process technologies, rotating equipment, heat transfer, fluid handling, separation technologies, energy systems, or related technical solutions.
  • Experience selling both capital equipment and aftermarket/service solutions is highly valued.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and convert opportunities into business results.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and influence decision-makers at different organizational levels.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to understand industrial processes and applications.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role while collaborating within an international organization.
  • Good command of English and local language(s) relevant to the market.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
