You will own the product platform strategy and drive innovation in collaboration with R&D to ensure our offerings meet the evolving needs of customers in different portfolios. This is a high-impact role for a strategic leader with deep technical expertise and a passion for sustainability and innovation. You will drive and safeguard the competitiveness of the product lines over its full life cycle with help from resources in Capital Sales, Service, Engineering, R&D, Quality and Supply.\nSome of your responsibilities include:\nUnderstand and translate customer needs and market demand into suitable product offerings.\nDefining product requirements for R&D, Engineering and Supply functions. Own the Market Demand Specification and collaborate with the Portfolio Managers on its creation.\nCreate and maintain a product development roadmap that clearly shows priorities for the next 3-18 months.\nMonitor product and take actions to secure competitiveness throughout the product lifecycle.\nAnalyze economies of scale across product lines and platforms.\nDrive product assortment strategy to support order intake, gross margin, and quality targets.\nAnalyzing and approving product cost and cost structure\nManage obsolescence and termination of products when they no longer meet customer requirements or product platform strategy.\nCreate and maintain a clear phase-in and phase-out roadmaps.\nWork closely with Marketing to launch and follow up on new products and product updates.\nAbout you\nYou are a strategic thinker who can connect customer needs and business objectives to competitive offering. You understand the bigger picture and can turn strategy into clear priorities and concrete actions. You are self-driven and have a strong “get things done” mindset. You take ownership of your responsibilities, follow activities through, and ensure decisions lead to results. You are comfortable making decisions when information may be incomplete or uncertain, and you use your judgment to move forward while considering both risks and opportunities.\nYou are collaborative and communicate clearly with stakeholders across different functions. You build strong relationships and understand that successful product management depends on effective cooperation across the organization. You are curious and eager to understand customers, products, technologies, and market developments.
