Please feel free to peruse our website www.alfalaval.com.\nThe position / About the Job:\nIn this job the Global Project Manager would be responsible for:\nKey Tasks and Responsibilities:\nGLOBAL PROJECT MANAGER\nRun Global Projects and activities in line with our strategic direction.\nSupport the Product Group Change Coordinator & Factory Change Coordinator in implementing changes in the factory.\nIdentify & run concept studies exploring new processes and technologies.\nImplement and validate global processes.\nAmbassador of Operations Development in India introducing performance culture based on facts & data.\nClose collaboration with other factories within HFH with focusing on technology development, manufacturing transformation & digitalization.\nClose interaction with central OD team\nManage project on time, specification, and budget.\nHas the authority to make decisions and manage the allocated resources, within given frame and budget.\nStakeholder management and communication\nReport to steering committee (internal and external)\nSupport and proactively suggest or lead improvements to meet or exceed Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets.\nDesigning and implementing production flows & own according to Lean principles.\nSupport process and project engineers in their daily project work.\nStay up to date concerning new technologies and share this new knowledge with colleagues. Function as mentor\nTravelling activities to support colleagues on other sites and carry out quality inspections at sub-supplier’s site.\nCore competence:\nManage PMP/Promal/Lean Six Sigma / projects linked to HFH strategy.\nStrong communicator both in person and in writing that can utilize the elevator speech principles on the global scene.\nStakeholder management.\nUnderstanding manufacturing processes (machining, forming & joining).
