So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.\nTechnology Area Leader\nSan Bonifacio (VR)\nMission:\nDevelopment of new technologies for brazed heat exchangers, typically used in Air conditioning, Heat Pump, Data Center and Refrigeration applications. Translation of customer long term needs into R&D requirement. Participate in decision making in projects with major impact on technology, in order to optimize performance and increase customer value.\nKey tasks:\nAnalyze customer applications to identify opportunities for product and process innovation\nParticipate in Technology Development project as part of cross-functional project team with focus on the thermal aspects\nThermal prognosis and analysis, thermal test specification, evaluations and problem solving are typical tasks.\nCFD Simulations involving heat transfer between fluids in 1ph- and 2ph flows (evaporation/condensation)\nSpecify, follow tests and evaluate test results in our 2-phase test laboratory\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product Management, Sales, and Manufacturing, to translate customer needs into technical solutions.\nOptimize product performance and value through innovative design and process improvements\nStay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to heat exchangers.\nIdentify and pursue innovation opportunities within product and process development\nPrepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.\nSupport knowledge sharing and competence development within the organization.\nInternational collaboration (mainly Sweden).\nCompetencies:\nCustomer-oriented mindset with the ability to understand and address specific application requirements.\nSolid technical knowledge in heat exchanger design and technology\nKnowledge of heat transfer and thermodynamics\nCreative thinker with strong problem-solving skills\nExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities\nFluent in English, both written and spoken.\nAbility to work effectively in a complex, international environment.\nQualifications & experience:\nMaster’s degree within Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) , Physiscs or equivalent qualification\nFew years of working experience and/or PhD experience within the competence field\nGood knowledge of CFD simulations\nPreferred (Non Mandatory) Skills\nExperience in heat exchanger design, development, or related technology roles\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and materials for heat exchangers.\nExperience working in multinational or matrix organizations.\nAt Alfa Laval, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your total compensation package.
