So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.\nAbout the Job\nAs an integral member of our Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring inventory accuracy, material traceability, and efficient warehouse operations that support manufacturing and customer delivery commitments. You will perform cycle counts, inventory audits, discrepancy investigations, and material verification activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.\nYou will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with manufacturing, warehouse, and operations teams to improve inventory processes, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support business success.\nCurrently, this is an on-site opportunity located in Houston, TX.\nThis opportunity starts as temporary employment with conversion to direct hire upon successful performance evaluation.\nAs a part of the team, you will:\nPerform cycle counts, recounts, physical inventory verifications, and location audits with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions through system reviews, material tracking, and physical verification.\nMaintain accurate inventory records through inventory transactions, adjustments, transfers, and status updates in inventory management systems.\nSafely operate forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and overhead cranes to support inventory control activities.\nIdentify and segregate damaged, nonconforming, or questionable materials in accordance with inventory control procedures.\nParticipate in daily status meetings and communicate inventory, quality, safety, and operational concerns.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives, 5S activities, and inventory process enhancements.\nMaintain compliance with all safety, quality, and company policies while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.\nWe care about diversity, inclusion and equity in our recruitment processes. To help us achieve this, we apply Pymetrics assessments, and upon application you will be invited to play the assessment games.\nWhat You Know\nYou have a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience, and:\nMinimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, manufacturing, or a related operational environment.\nExperience performing cycle counts, inventory transactions, inventory auditing, and material handling activities.\nExperience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment preferred.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems, inventory management software, handheld scanners, and Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.\nBasic math skills, including counting, measurements, and reading a tape measure.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to professionally interact across departments.\nWe are seeking a safety-focused and detail-oriented professional who takes ownership of their work and consistently demonstrates accuracy, accountability, and reliability.
