So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.\nAbout the job\nAs a Welder I, you will be responsible forlaying out, fitting, tacking, and welding steel components and assemblies in accordance withblueprint specifications. Using a range of power tools and welding equipment, you’llensure precision, structural integrity, and a clean finish free of undercuts and weld spatter. Your work must meet strict dimensional and aesthetic standards, contributing directly to product quality and organizational success.\nThis position is in Tulsa, Oklahoma and/or Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.\nAs a part of the team, you will:\nInterpret blueprints and follow instructions to execute weld procedures\n\nOperate migand/or tig welders, stick welding, grinders, plasma cutters, drill presses, and other tools\n\nFamiliar with welding carbon and aluminium steel\n\nAssemble and weld parts with precision using clamps, bolts, and tack welds\n\nPlan layouts and welding sequences for structural integrity and safety\n\nInspect and correct welds to meet quality standards\n\nUse measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances\n\nPerform routine maintenance and complete preventive checklists\n\nSupport material handling, loading/unloading, and workstation supply\n\nAssistteam leaders and train others as needed\n\nMaintain a clean and organized work area throughout shift\n\nCrosstrain across departments to expand skillset\n\nAbility to use and operatehand tools, pneumatic tools, and electric\n\nAll employees are expected to prioritize safety, regardless of role. This includes strict adherence to company-wide safety policies and procedures, proactive promotion of safe practices, and addressing unsafe behaviorsor conditions in a constructive and positive manner.\n\nEmployees expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, courtesy, and cooperation toward colleagues, customers, vendors, and visitors.\n\nFull compliance with all Alfa Laval policies and procedures is requiredto maintaina respectful, safe, and productive work environment.\n\nWhat you know:\nYou have High School diploma or GED,preferred,with relevant experience, and:\nMinimum 1 year experience using migor tig welding\n\nMust pass Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), if PAPR is required\n\nManufacturing experience required; industry background preferred\n\nProficient in MIG welding and oxyacetylene torch use\n\nSkilled in basic math and tape measure reading\n\nExperienced with hand tools, drill/saw machinery, and overhead crane operation\n\nForklift certification preferred\n\nPhysical & Environmental Factors:\nPhysical Requirements (lifting, climbing, standing, equipment use):\nRegularly exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally; 30 lbs of force frequently\n\nStand or walk for 80% of the workday\n\nRequired to have visual acuity to operatemotor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.\n\nMobility & Posture: Standing, walking, crouching, stooping, kneeling, and balancing on varied surfaces\n\nManual Dexterity: Reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, and lifting objects using upper body strength\n\nFine Motor Skills: Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers for precision tasks\n\nCommunication: Clear verbal expressions and active listening to convey and receive detailed instructions\n\nSensory Abilities: Adequate hearing to distinguish sounds and spoken communication in a work environment\n\nEnvironmental Factors (hazardous materials, work location, work surfaces, exposure):\nMust wear Personal Protective Equipment: steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs\n\nExposure to various weather conditions cold or hot, wet/humid conditions, and loud noise levels.
