The candidate should have a solid understanding of DICOM workflows and experience working with healthcare standards and imaging systems.\n\nThe role involves developing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, validating end-to-end medical imaging workflows, identifying regressions, and collaborating closely with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality product releases.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Design, develop and maintain scalable automation scripts using Playwright.\n\n- Build and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, integration and regression testing.\n\n- Automate end-to-end DICOM workflows, including DICOM ingestion, processing, transmission and output validation.\n\n- Compare expected/golden DICOM outputs with test outputs using key attributes and metadata.\n\n- Validate DICOM data, workflows and image-related processing.\n\n- Perform functional, regression, integration and API testing.\n\n- Identify regressions, investigate automation failures and perform root-cause analysis.\n\n- Manage test data, test configurations, test environments and automation dependencies.\n\n- Work with PACS/ RIS/ Medical Imaging/ Radiology/ Viewer applications.\n\n- Collaborate with Development, Product and DevOps teams to understand workflows and resolve issues.\n\n- Participate in code reviews and follow automation best practices.\n\n- Contribute to automation strategy and continuous improvement of testing processes.\n\n- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on automation practices.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications : \n\n- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field.\n\nTotal Experience : 4 - 12 years\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.\n\n- Strong understanding of DICOM fundamentals, data flow and imaging workflows.\n\n- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Healthcare / Medical Imaging applications.\n\n- Experience working with PACS/ RIS/ Radiology/ Medical Imaging/ Viewer applications.\n\n- Good understanding of HL7 and healthcare standards.\n\n- Strong understanding of UI and API automation testing.\n\n- Experience in automation framework development and maintenance.\n\n- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n\n- Good communication and collaboration skills.\n\nGood to Have : \n\n- Hands-on experience with Python for test automation and scripting.\n\n- Experience with Node.js and Playwright.\n\n- Experience testing AI/ML-based healthcare applications.\n\n- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.\n\n- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.\n\n- Experience with performance or non-functional testing.\n\n- Knowledge of additional healthcare standards and protocols.\n\nPreferred Domain Experience : \n\nCandidates with experience in Healthcare, Medical Devices, Medical Imaging, Radiology, PACS, RIS, Diagnostic Imaging or DICOM-based applications are preferred.\n\nKey Mandatory Skills : \n\nPlaywright, DICOM, TypeScript/JavaScript, Healthcare/Medical Imaging, PACS/RIS/Radiology/Viewer, HL7.\nSkills\nSoftware Quality Assurance, Testing, Playwright Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, UI/UX Testing, API Testing, Healthcare EcoSystem, DICOM, Automation Testing, Application Testing","description_format":"text","description_chars":3412,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":4,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T18:04:06Z"}],"liveness":{"score":42,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":0.85,"p_active":0.555,"p_room":0.9,"age_days":16,"expected_fill_days":40,"reasons":["seen:16","stale_co","velocity","win:mid"],"computed_at":"2026-09-29T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/algoshack-senior-test-automation-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/algoshack-senior-test-automation-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-30T01:50:55Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1473,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3527,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-01T00:00:00Z"}}}
