The candidate should be capable of understanding complex business workflows, identifying risks and taking end-to-end ownership of quality.\nThe role involves testing a cloud-based platform with multiple APIs, microservices, AWS components, third-party integrations and frequent deployments. Experience in fintech, payments or other transaction-heavy systems would be an advantage.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Test Planning & Quality Assurance\nUnderstand business and technical requirements and convert them into detailed test scenarios.\nCreate and execute functional, integration, regression, exploratory and end-to-end tests.\nTest positive, negative, boundary, permission and failure scenarios.\nIdentify regression impact and define appropriate smoke and regression coverage.\nParticipate in requirement and technical-design discussions.\nRaise clear defects with impact, evidence, reproduction steps and expected behaviour.\n2. UI & API Automation\nBuild and maintain UI and API automation using Cypress.\nValidate APIs, backend services, databases and third-party integrations.\nValidate complex workflows involving multiple services.\nTest asynchronous processes such as queues, events, webhooks and batch jobs.\nInvestigate failures using API responses, application logs, browser tools and AWS monitoring.\nMaintain reliable test data, environment configuration and cleanup processes.\n3. CI/CD & Release Validation\nIntegrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.\nReview automated-test results and troubleshoot pipeline failures.\nSupport release validation, production smoke testing and incident investigation.\nClearly communicate testing progress, blockers and release risks.\nContribute to improving QA processes, automation standards and release quality.\n4.
