Clipchamp\nRole overview\nWe are seeking a hands-on Senior BI Analyst who can evaluate, select, configure, and implement the right Business Intelligence platform based on business and technical requirements.\nThe role will work across BI tool assessment, data modeling, semantic layer design, dashboard development, reporting, data validation, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable BI solutions.\nKey responsibilities:\n1.BI Tool Evaluation & Selection\nEvaluate and compare BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar enterprise BI tools.\nAssess BI platforms based on business requirements, usability, scalability, integration capabilities, and cost.\nSupport proof-of-concepts and recommend suitable BI platforms based on defined requirements.\nPerform hands-on setup, configuration, and validation of selected BI tools.\nConduct comparative assessments and document findings and recommendations.\n2.Data Modeling & Semantic Layer\nDesign and build scalable data models and semantic layers.\nDevelop dimensional models, measures, KPIs, and reusable reporting structures.\nEnsure data models support reporting, analytics, performance, and scalability requirements.\nValidate data accuracy, relationships, calculations, and business logic.\nApply BI data modeling and semantic layer best practices.\n3.Dashboard & Reporting Development\nBuild interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business and operational users.\nDevelop meaningful KPIs and reporting solutions based on business requirements.\nConnect BI platforms to databases, cloud data warehouses, APIs, and enterprise data sources.\nTroubleshoot data connectivity, reporting, and dashboard performance issues.\nOptimize dashboards and reports for usability, performance, and data accuracy.\n4.Collaboration & Delivery\nPartner with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to understand and translate reporting requirements.\nConvert business requirements into scalable BI solutions.\nCollaborate with technical teams on data availability, source systems, and integration requirements.\nDefine BI standards and best practices for data modeling, dashboard design, performance, governance, and data accuracy.\nSupport implementation activities from BI platform evaluation through production delivery.\n5.Data Validation & Performance Optimization\nPerform data quality validation and reconciliation across BI reports and underlying data sources.\nIdentify and troubleshoot data inconsistencies and reporting issues.\nConduct BI performance analysis and implement optimization recommendations.\nSupport testing of BI solutions, including functional, data, and performance validation.\nEnsure BI solutions meet defined business and technical requirements.\nRequired technical skills and competencies:\n4-6+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or reporting.\nStrong hands-on dashboard development and data modeling experience.\nStrong hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or comparable enterprise BI platforms.\nStrong SQL skills with experience working with cloud data warehouses and enterprise data sources.\nExperience with semantic modeling and dimensional modeling.\nStrong understanding of KPIs, measures, and dashboard development.\nExperience evaluating BI tools and supporting tool selection, setup, and implementation.\nExperience working with business and technical stakeholders.\nStrong understanding of BI reporting, data validation, and performance optimization.\nMust have skills:\nPower
